Might be a silly question but I have very small breast and quite flat. How can I make sure milk is being pumped from my breast pump properly and to create more fullness. They were so big and full after I gave birth but it had gone down massively!
I can’t squeeze/massage the breast to help empty out the milk whilst pumping as there’s not much breast to squeeze when it’s already on the pump. Also, when lying down on my side there’s not enough breast to put in my babies mouth. If that make sense?
(Also please note I only make less than 30 ML of milk on both my breast combined together in 30 minutes)
I’ve had a decrease in milk supply due to having nipple thrush and not knowing much about breast feeding and how painful it can get when it’s so full just after birth! And not too long after that I ended up needing surgery to remove my gallbladder so I was fasting for about a week with no food/water for 6+ hours for endless MRI scans etc and since then my supply has also been really low!

There are cookies that I can't think of the name of that helps me and Bodyarmors drink lots of water, and my sister says avocados help her

I massaged my boobs before I pumped, or I have to re position my boobs every like 5 min
