I’ve seen a lot of people buy off brand lazy spas as I think it’s cheeper

I hired my birthing pool from tortie doula! Amazing kind lady who is happy to answer any questions. We chose to pick up and drop off ourselves but she does delivery depending on postcode.
I had my first baby at cossham but as closed to births chose to have a home birth the September just gone. My 2 year old son at the time slept the night away in his bed and woke up at 6am to a new baby sister. South mead home birth team were amazing! I loved my midwife who came to do my checks at the house also. They also come to your house after birth to check you and baby until your signed off which made life easier. Ate a Chinese, danced to my favourite music. my birthing partners and the two midwife’s had lots of banter and fit together perfectly. It was a beautiful atmosphere.
Loved the naked doula on instagram and used floppy face floppy f*nny when in labour! Helped massively to reduce tearing.

Hired mine from Tortie too! She is really helpful and was able to answer any questions we had!

I hired from here https://www.homebirthsupplies.co.uk/ they delivered and picked up the next day and everything needed came in the box (thermometer, pumps, hose, liner, sieve etc).
Also could not recommend a home birth more! I had one for my first 2 months ago and it was incredible, everything I'd been hoping for. Me and partner were in a complete high for a few weeks after because we just couldn't believe what a great experience it was.
My labour was really quick and I couldn't have imagined a point where I'd have felt comfortable getting in the car to drive to hospital so I was so relieved we'd planned to do it at home.
Midwives were amazing, turned up and read my birth plan and honestly they just kept out the way and let me get on with it! They barely had to do anything.
I had a 2nd degree tear and they just stitched me up at home on my bed so we didn't have to leave the house at all.
Feel free to message to talk about it/advice. I love talking birth!
