I currently have a sickness bug and absolutely petrified of passing this onto my daughter. Any advice?

My baby had a sickness bug that he then passed to me, I then in turn passed my cold onto him. Unfortunately it is just unavoidable as the primary care giver! I was really lucky that my husband works from home so was able to help care for our son, but I still had to do the majority. Get as much help as you can, keep on top of hygiene, maybe avoid kissing your baby until you've recovered.

I’m really hoping my little one doesn’t get it because I have bad anxiety anyway and I think it would go through the roof! Luckily baby’s dad has been on hand today aswell. Not sure what I would have done otherwise!!

I know it's horrid isnt it! My baby was poorly for basically the whole of march and went to hospital 3 times (different reason), I've been an absolute wreck!

If it helps, last month me and my eldest daughter had an awful sickness bug and baby didn’t catch it, didn’t do anything different apart from washing hands more x

Me, my partner and my 2 year old all had a sickness bug a few weeks ago (a few days apart from each other) and somehow my little boy didn’t catch it! She might be ok, like above comments just do good hand hygiene and don’t kiss baby. I don’t know if it was the rotor virus vaccine they had not long ago that helped my boy not catch it!
I really hope you feel better soon, these bugs are honestly the worst!! X
