UTI urinary tract infection
Have any of your LOs had one? She’s had a high fever and been all out of sorts crying and barely sleeping and yelping (in pain?) for 48 hours and trembles when we change her nappy / touch her lower stomach.. no cough/cold symptoms. No vomiting but also not really eating. Curious of symptoms and treatment - how did they do a urine test on a baby? Taking her into the hosp first thing tomorrow :(

Literally was in hospital about this last night! I let my baby walk around the bathroom with her nappy off and tried to catch her pee in a big pot and then transfer it into a sample pot.
They’ll test it and give antibiotics if needed. X
They can give you a pad to put in the baby’s nappy
My son had something similar to UTI, I was breastfeeding him being naked on the bottom, a towel under him on my lap and I put a cup there to catch his pee. Usually babies pee when they bf. But I don't know if it would work for you but just an idea. I had to do it so many times. In the hospital they didn't have the bag to put in the nappy. So I had to do this way a lot.
My daughter has had about 4 of these and now she’s is going in for scans to see if it’s to do with her kidneys xx
