Advice?

So my husband and I haven’t had sex in 3 months now. The few months before that we only had sex once a month or so. I keep trying to initiate but he either ignores me or says he doesn’t want to. I’m due any time now, and told him it possibly helps with labor and he told me I would need to get a toy then because he won’t. (Which obviously wouldn’t help as it’s his sperm that helps). He said he still finds me attractive but I find that hard to believe bc he isn’t touching me at all! He used to grab my boobs all the time or snack my butt or just rub up on me for fun. Not now… Not even kissing unless it’s a peck before he leaves for work or going to bed. He hasn’t slept in the same bed for months either. Before I was pregnant we had a VERY active sex life, and now it’s gone. Idk what to do. Idk what’s happening. He’s told me he feels insecure and awkward about it (he’s also said it’s not because of the baby). But like I feel like I’m missing something or something?! If he found me so attractive surely he would want to jump my bones right?! We would have sex all the time before this pregnancy. So I’m just lost and confused. Any advice?

I'm sorry you're going through this. Sex for me has been different this pregnancy, we just try to communicate as much as possible. One thing my husband has been dealing with recently when it comes to sex is him feeling my belly when he's on top. He says he hates that it gets in between us lol

There's actually a video on YouTube about how guys feel regarding sex with their pregnant wives. https://youtu.be/qn1QpknrS3k?si=6r0TWhwuheyTDPzM

When I watched this video it put things into a different perspective for me. Definitely try asking him about everything that's going on.

I hope it gets better for you!

It was honestly really hard for me because my husband’s sex drive also sorta disappeared with me being pregnant. He’d be extremely affectionate, but not sexual. The sex drive seems to be back with the baby here though. Even if I’m not allowed to have sex for 6 weeks. So we do a lot of acts of intimacy instead. We started with giving each other massages each night and it often at least leads to making out. Sometimes to other things.

That’s how my fiance was but it’s he’s first child and he felt weird about holding y boobs and the baby kicks him he was just trying to be cautious he loves me very much and still do but he rather wait till my belly ain’t in the way to have sex so he don’t hurts us in general I’m telling u not to worry but also be blunt to him and talk things thru I’m just happy that he changed he’s working and he waiting till my body is working so we can have our fun and spend time as a family
