Almost 2 days past due date & I’m getting so impatient as I’m going for a homebirth. I just hope she comes really soon 😭 never thought I would go past my due date

Is this your first baby? just curious because I’m having my first, edd is in 8 days and I really thought I would’ve had her by now lol

Have you tried using a breast pump to help induce labor

I feel you. 40 weeks almost 40+1. I wanted to go into labor naturally but my induction is in two days

sameeee. I was due the 5th. Getting induced on Monday Thank God.

I’m 12 days over with first 🥲 going in for induction today x

Good luck 🍀 I’m sure eveything will be fine ❤️

Totally normal to go past your due date and it’s best to let your body naturally go into labor if you and baby are healthy :) you don’t want to force your body to do something it’s not ready to do yet + the more time baby spends in the womb, the more developed they are. Babies who are born before 40 weeks can have a harder time with things like breathing in the beginning

this is my second! First came at 39+5

yes but midwife said to stop because it can lead to hospital transfer with prolonged labor

yes this is my second kid and I’m already over 40 weeks. My main concern is getting close to 42 because I still want to achieve a home birth and cannot if I get that far

I get that, I’m in the same boat. I’m planning a birth center birth and I also can’t go over 42 weeks
