Is anyone else still suffering with bad reflux?
Our LG still throws back formula up to 3 hours after a feed, and can be quite a lot.
I know reflux is common, but I thought it would ease by now. She’s 5 months.

Yeah my wee boy is exactly the same, sometimes he doesnt hold down any bottles and that’s with the carobel in it🫠some days he has little to no reflux and other days it’s so bad he’s spewing hot sick constantly and screaming and gulping. I was also thinking it should’ve been getting better? Hopefully by 6 months🥲

My boy is exactly the same! He is on max dose Gaviscon too & even that doesn't help. I was told reflux peaks around 4/5 months apparently🤷🏽♀️ Also heard teething can make reflux worse, so if your baby is teething, that could be why.
I don't know how true all this is, but I'm clinging onto it in hope things are going to start getting better soon🤞🏽🙈x

Yeah i’m still having the same problem with my little girl. She’s sick after every feed and we are using carobel too. She’s so frustrated with trapped wind too. So hard isn’t it! I did think it would get better by now🙈

My baby is 20w and still lots of reflux. This is such a nightmare…

Still suffering with terrible reflux. We’ve been referred to paediatrics. Little ones on Gaviscon and Omeprazole and recommended early weaning at 5 months. Still no better. Praying it calms down as he gets older

My LO has what I think is reflux (5 months today) but GP thinks is dairy allergy. He spits up immediately after feeding and hours later.
Those of you using Carobel, Gaviscon etc are these prescribed and if combination feeding how do you administer these?

we got ours prescribed by GP, we put the scoops into his bottle as he is formula fed, however it can only be spoon fed to babies as a paste/gel rather than the powder going into bottles so I’d imagine you could do it that way if breast feeding

^ I meant to say it can ALSO be spoon fed 🤣

Our HV recommended carobel to us so I buy ours from Amazon as it’s so much easier! It’s fairly reasonable priced! we just add it into her bottles 😊
