Aldi mamia formula

What ready made formula do you use for ‘on the go’ if use the Aldi formula? They don’t appear to have cartons like the named brands. Thanks ☺️

It looks like aptimil is the closest so you could maybe try that, or if you have a rapid cool then take your own formula in pre-made pots with a hot flask and a rapid cool. Thats what I do as my baby is on comfort milk and they don’t make that for “on the go” ♥️

I don’t use the Aldi formula I use aptamil however I don’t use to bottles on the go, Asda has the formula tubs for around 2.50 and I believe in the baby event the nubby is down to around £20. I just take a flask of how water with me and make them like a regular bottle ob the go! I hope this makes sense and maybe is an alternative option xx

I used aptamil ready to go formula and never had any issues

thank you. I have the rapid cool but like the security of having some ready made at home or out and about just in case. Will try Aptamil thank you 🙂

My midwife told me Mamia and Aptamil are made in the same factory. They just slap different labels on them

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.

Breastfeeding

Does it ever feel better? The actual feeding part of it is going really well and baby boy is growing so well. I’m struggling with how my boobs feel day to day - it’s really getting me down most days. The let downs make me feel awful and sounds silly but, I am also really missing not wearing a bra! 9 weeks postpartum and still getting fairly engorged, even with comfort pumping.

Any advice or just shared stories would help. I’m so torn between carrying on because I enjoy the feeding side of it or switching to formula.

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?
