How to get rid of stretch marks

I had my daughter 3 months ago and I’ve got stretch marks all over my legs. I’ve been using bio oil but it doesn’t seem to be working and I’m very self conscious about the stretch marks as it’s all over my calf and want to be to wear skirts and dresses in the summer. Anyone got any suggestions on anything else I could use to help get rid of them

I'm using pure castor oil it's made them a bit better over the week I've used it. It's a natural repair oil do some research as it helps with everything

Did they pop up during pregnancy or after birth ladies ??? ✨✨

Mine are present during pregnancy, and only on one side 🫠

if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, it’s recommended not to use products containing retinol x

Im sorry i know how much they such. You cannot get rid of them, only reduce their appearance over time. Cocoa butter and stretch mark oils can help reduce the redness. I found with really deep ones it can take a year or more, thinner ones lightened over 6 months or so. I have them all over my body and honestly people barely notice them. More so just me.

I’m using Olay collagen body lotion and even though it’s only been a week I see significant improvement on my tummy stretch marks

Sun beds x

They do just eventually fade, I’m 14 months pp and they’re white now, I don’t really have many though so I’m not overly fussed by them.
mine appeared right before I gave birth

I had a few come up before I gave birth but mostly after they showed up x

Tell me about it I’m worried about the same thing. There all down the sides of my legs the back of my legs and there bright red and horrible. I wore a dress for the first time on a night out and covered them with some of that b2 spray tan on tiktok and I tell you i couldn’t see them it was amazing. Try that till they fade. I’ve been told they won’t go for quite some time and I’ve even got them under my arms and all over my belly to top it off I got them weeks before giving birth so that definitely was the cherry on top of the cake🤣🤣

With both pregnancies, mine showed up after. With my first, mine reduced in appearance (went from dark purple to shiney skin that you can't see unless you're really up close) with time. It maybe took 7 or 8 months. It's hard to really get rid of, as they are layers of skin that essentially ripped causing little scars to form. It definitely sucks at first, but they do fade

I don’t think you can ever fully get rid of them. They die down to like silver looking mark. I also found sunbeds and getting tanned makes them look worse x

You can have laser removal or micro needling or even a tattoo to match the skin pigmentation

the ones on my legs were during pregnancy but not until about 7/8 months and used bio oil then. Ones on my belly were after birth but they aren’t as bad

thank you
I didn’t know about these post birth ones!! 💛

I haven't found any creams that really helped them, but they do fade over time. I was 18 when I had my daughter (now 14) and they appeared all down my legs 😫
