Can you use vicks in a hot bowl and leave in room for newborn baby?
My LO is 3 weeks old and has a very blocked nose - it’s keeping him up.
Can I leave a hot bowl with vicks in his room? I won’t put it on his body. Can’t find any information online.

Snuffle babe does a vapo oil that can be put in a bowl of boiling water in the room. It can be used from newborn. I think Vicks might be too strong, maybe.
Try the calpol plug ins for tonight (just check what age they can be used for) x
Might be too young for that but there’s massages you can do to help with congestion. Not sure if you can use baby Vicks to do it for added efficacy but worth a google or even ask health visitor or doctor/pharmacist. For the massages Google or you can find a baby massage course Hope this helps x
