Hey girls. Just wanted to say perimenopause has been rough on my anxiety & depression issues & I lost 4 family members last year on top of that. My doctor started me on prozac & buspar the end of September & its been working wonderfully.

Recently I had to up my dosage & am now on 30 mg prozac & 10 mg buspar 2x a day.. that was when I really started feel like my old self. I was terrified of taking meds because I just don't like taking things that I can't quit cold turkey, but I have zero regrets. If anyone is struggling please don't hesitate to do what you need to do! Love to all.♡

Hi Amanda. I have awful anxiety and some days I feel very low, like there just isn’t anything to look forward to in life. Other days I’m quite up beat. It’s awful. Thankyou for your story. I’m like you I don’t like taking meds really but if it’s necessary and they help, why not.

@Julie I can't even begin to tell you how many times I told my husband I felt like there's nothing to look forward to anymore. I slept so much for months & let my house get really bad, I just didn't care. Recently I've got my house totally cleaned & redecorated a lot & started on the basement. Its hard to believe the energy level. I hope you have yours under control soon. The ups & downs are exhausting. We deserve to have happy, healthy, mentally stable lives!

@Amanda exactly. I’m pleased you’re on the up. I have an appointment to see the doctor at the end of this month. Il certainly discuss my feelings then. See what she can recommend. I moved home and am looking for work but struggling to find anything I don’t have to work weekends with. My husband works away during the week so I wanted my weekends free. Hopefully working again (if I can keep info retained in my mind due to brain fog) 🤦‍♀️ that will keep me busy take my mind off dwelling on everything. x

@Julie I know your struggle when it comes to work cuz I have teens I want to spend time with. I started looking into stay at home jobs that are customer service

@Cindy that would definitely help
