Found this book through the midwives’ cauldron podcast. Has anyone read it yet and can recommend it? The author is a professor of infant feeding and lactation.

I read an absolute ton of breastfeeding books and I can honestly say, none of them really helped 😬 lactation consultants and having a community (even just an online breastfeeding forum) was a lot more useful.
It's much better to only look for solutions when you find you have a problem rather than to read about the million things that can go wrong and overthink it.

The absolute best source of information for breastfeeding in my opinion is la Leche League. They have their own book, the womanly art of breastfeeding. It's chunky, but it's a super easy read. https://www.lllgbbooks.co.uk/store/p91/The_Womanly_Art_of_Breastfeeding.html

thanks for the recommendation, I love the name of that book.
okay! Thank you. I’ve joined ‘The Village’ on FB but could you recommend another breastfeeding specific group perhaps? Thanks!

if you use reddit, r/breastfeeding is good.
I ended up exclusively pumping and the EP UK group on Facebook + r/exclusivelypumping were amazing too if you end up that route.

thank you!! I spend a lot of time on Reddit and will check this out. I forget about the more woman-centric parts of the website.
