Hi,
I have a 14 week old who for the past few weeks has been stirring from around 4 or 5 for a feed but then onwards stirs every 20 mins or so and seems very unsettled. Some times he needs his dummy putting in, sometimes he’s just grumbling or cries for a second but it’s really disturbing my sleep.
I’m very lucky in the fact that he doesn’t wake up for a feed before then and sleeps pretty constantly until that point but I can’t figure out what has changed to not let him get back to sleep for any longer that 20 mins each time.
I’ve the temperature right, it’s not gas or constipation, he always has white noise on and a clean nappy from the feed. does anyone have any hints or tips as to what it could be?
Thanks

Sorry, no advice but I literally could’ve written this myself! My little boy has been like this since about 13 weeks, he’s 15 weeks now and it’s still going on. He sleeps amazingly all night up until he wakes for his feed around 4-5am then it’s a battle to keep him down, so I feel your pain!
I feel ungrateful asking for advice because he sleeps so well the rest of the time but it’s like some form of torture being woken up every ten mins 😂 unless I give in and we start each day at stupid o’clock 😂

I feel the same! You feel like you should be grateful they sleep through the night but then trying to get those last couple of hours early morning is actually exhausting! I’ve considered starting the day but my little one is tired and will yawn but only go to sleep in my arms, if I put him down he’s awake and banging his crib and grunting 🙈😂
Yeah mines the same if I’m holding him he goes back off. I’ve heard of sleep pressure where their bodies don’t stay as sleepy because they’ve already had their fill but I tried earlier and later bedtimes and none of it seems to matter 😴
