Should I wake my baby up for Calpol?

Little one had her 8week jabs today. Her first round of Calpol was at 6pm so she'll be due some more around midnight. She usually sleeps through the night so I'm just wondering if I should wake her for some Calpol at midnight or just let her sleep?

I would personally let her sleep it off and keep it handy in case she wakes up. Hope your LO feels better tmro x

In the area I live in. In northern Ireland. After 8 weeks jabs baby has to get 3 doses of Calpol 4 hours apart. As their high risk getting a very high temp. They get the first dose once the jabs are done. My wee boy got his 4 weeks ago and even with the Calpol he still had high temp so I'd definitely give it to your baby as temps can b dangerous. My wee boy got his 12 week jabs today but you dont 'have' to give Calpol with these jabs but you can if you feel baby needs it

No just let her sleep and give some when she wakes

Our nursery advised us to give it to him every 4 hours, whether asleep or awake and whether temperature or not. Funny that different nurses will tell you different things, so I guess just follow what yours suggested and if they didn't specify, I would say err on the side of caution and wake her to give it to her, if she's tired I'm sure she will drift back off to sleep anyway ❤️
