What time are your babies having feeds? I'm worried I'm feeding too much and if I need to drop a feed?

Normally his day will look like.... 7am bottle 8am solid 11 am bottle 12 solid 3pm bottle 6pm solid 7pm bottle (doesn't often wants it or has small amount) 10pm bottle Sometimes I'll do a night feed when I can't get him back to sleep. Sleep hasn't been good in a while!

Ours is very similar Ours is 6.30 boob 8am solid 11am formula 1ish solid 3pm formula 5-5.30 solid 7.45 boob Bed 7 Sometimes has a bottle of she wakes but it's trial and error as weaning off the boob xx

We do food first now as it works better for us, so it’s 7am solid 8.30am bottle 11.30am solid 1.30pm bottle 4.30pm solid 7pm bottle Sometimes she will have a wee snack about 3.30pm when she wakes from her nap but doesn’t always need it. She has between 650&700ml of formula a day so she’s getting enough on top of 3 meals.

Thanks both 😊. He's having about 800mls of formula a day and LOVES food so I'm just wondering if I need to drop a bottle but wasn't sure which. Definitely trial and error though. He's really tall but an average weight x

Ours is similar to yours except we don’t have the 10pm bottle. Could you make the tea time solids maybe an hour earlier at 5pm ish and then he might drink more of the 7pm bottle? xx

@Shayne that's good to hear. Since the clocks changed we've been finishing dinner at 6, then bath and bed at 7. He usually doesn't take the 7pm bottle but will have one at 10ish. Could bring dinner earlier though and see if he'll have the 7pm. Do you think 5/6 bottles is too many?

I don’t think 5/6 is too many personally, it’s all trial and error as their routines are changing all the time as they grow! My little girl hates milk so was very easy for us to drop bottles 🤣x

@Shayne hahaha oh dear. Mine loves milk and food 😂just don't want to overfeed him! There's no spitting him ha x

We're similar although breastfeeding. Usually adding a feed at 1am and 4am if he wakes.

I wouldn't drop it unless baby refuses it.

Thanks all! Will stick to current schedule x
