Neighbor Dog Issues

I’m wondering if anyone has any advice. My husband and I live in an apt complex. There are limited spaces to take our dogs outside. We have a neighbor who refuses to leash her three dogs because “they just won’t go to the bathroom on a leash.” They rush us almost every time we take our dogs out to go to the bathroom. I’m worried about safety during this situation now, but especially after the baby is born. I know the obvious answer is to take our dogs to a different area, but the only two doggie pots on the complex are near her apt and unleashed dogs. I’ve called the complex twice. I don’t want to be the one to complain or cause problems, but it truly is a safety issue.

You can make a citizens report online. Usually these types of reports don’t get much attention but atleast if anything happens to your family there is proof of a report. Dog are required to be on leash at all times in Austin Texas not sure about round rock. https://www.austintexas.gov/sites/default/files/files/Municipal_Court/AFFAnimalViolations11_2020_Revised.pdf

@Sarah Thank you for this! They are supposed to be in Round Rock too!

@Kaylee you might have to look up different paperwork for round rock, though just search round rock municipal court. It should have an option somewhere that says court forms and documents and then just select citizens complaint form
