Pool time?

So, I've heard that taking baths is not good for baby, or at least long hot ones (which of course are the only kind I like). But what about the pool? Is luke warm water ok? If so, could I bathe in luke warm water too?

You can have a bath/ go in a pool as long as it 37° Celsius or below. The idea is you don’t get your body temperature raised

Yaa you can do any water thats not piping hot. You just want to be logical like a hot tub is cooking baby usually thats around 104ish but something just nice and warm is probably very soothing for you both and safe. Under 98 they say is fine so that would be a really nice warm pool lol.

Swimming is great while pregnant! Especially as your belly grows and you get more uncomfortable- I loved swimming in the third trimester because it was nice to move around without feeling so heavy. I also read that you can have a hot bath or go into a hot tub for only for 10 minutes or so, you don’t want your internal temperature to raise too much. I took blazing hot showers my whole pregnancy and never got too hot! Depends on you. Movement is great for you and baby!

I took hot baths lol

I took hot ass showers and baths🤷🏻‍♀️

As long as the bath isn't so hot it makes your skin lobster red you're fine, I have hot baths regularly, I did when pregnant with my daughter too.

Oh amazing, thank you guys!!

I took many hot baths while pregnant. But it wasn't so hot that my skin was beet red when I came out but still warm enough to keep me comfy

I’ve taken hot baths my entire pregnancy… having her next Thursday. She’s fine

I'm pregnant and do Hydrotherapy. Swimming is actually good for you because it takes weight off

I couldn't do anything but hot showers I do think as long as it's like 98 degrees or below you should be fine I also loved swimming especially floating it helped with breathing exercises during labor and made the whole thing easy getting in control of my breathing

Pools are safe I was swimming in one last month, just wouldn’t go in a hot tub
