It will be quite individual as everyone will have different outgoings outside of utilities and rent. One thing to keep in mind with private rentals is quite often they will affordability check you anyway as you’ll need to show income (earned or benefit) of so many X’s the monthly rent so it would be worthwhile to check with local agents if you haven’t done already to see how much rent you would be able to go up to if that makes sense x

Well I have a 2 bedroom terrace house and we pay for the house £695 then all the bills come to with the house roughly around the £1200 that’s without the car as my partner pays for that as I don’t drive hope this helps a bit x

We live in North Manchester so slightly cheaper than your area for a 3 bed terrace (2 adults, 3 children so id expect your bills to be less with 3 of you).... £900 rent, £200ish elec, £200ish gas (though gas varies wildly summer via winter), I think water is around £40, council tax is £120ish, then you've got your WiFi, tv license and little extras like that to think about, contents insurance, food etc etc x

We put £600 per month into our joint account each and this covers all household bills and food, including the mortgage for our 3 bed terraced in Manchester. I put about £400 into my own bills account to pay for my car (PCP), phone, petrol, insurance and pet stuff.

Before we bought our house we were paying £750 rent in Tameside for a 3 bed detached. Council tax, G&E, water, internet altogether currently is just under £500. Couldn’t tell you what I spend on shopping because I just go randomly rather than a weekly shop 🤣
