My son is biracial, I am white and his dad his black and Guatemalan he is already showing to have thick hair but it keeps breaking in the back no matter what I do how do I stop it so his hair can grow better? If he has his dad's hair I wanna be able to take care of it right

Hey mama! I also have a biracial boy 🥰 I’ve found that using silk/satin bonnets and sheets help with the breakage. Also try to keep him off his head because rubbing can cause him to loose his hair.

@Ashlynn I thought so, his daddy did like that idea when I suggested it bc bonnets look "stupid and ghetto" and he doesn't want his son in one

It’s a way to protect his hair. Do you put product in his hair?

@Ashlynn honestly no I don't even know where to start with that either

Does he have curls or just thick hair?

@Ashlynn it's thick but when it's wet it curls up I think he will have hair like his father where his roots are straight and the more it grows the curler it gets

Get a silk bedsheet for the crib. Mulberry is the best but it’s kind of expensive

How old is your son?

I just researched it , finally a liquid collagen supplement, they have the Mary’s Ruth kids has biotin too. Both would probably benefit greatly, prepare for hair to grow like a weed, after taking the right supplements my hair grew 1 foot in a 2 yea period maybe less time.

@Amanda I know I'll probably have to wait for him to be a bit old to put stuff in his hair he is almost 5 months but his brother(my step son) never had these issues my bio son is but there texture is very different

@Linka the Marte Ruth is a liquid supplement

Cocunut oil and satin cot sheets worked great for us
