Lactose free milk

Hey, Just wanted some advice/recommendation on lactose free furmula. The Drs has recently advised my baby could be lactose intolerant as he's always sick and does really runny poos. She advised lactose free milk for a 2 week trial. My baby is currently on aptimil lactose free but I realised it contains palm oil which can be bad for health. SMA do a lactose free but after researching SMA isn't the best furmula for babies. Does anyone know any other furmula I could try that is palm oil free or anyone know more about SMA. Thank you.

My son is 9mo and my pediatrician switched him to whole milk we use lactose free and it's made a huge difference. He's no longer screaming in pain cuz lactose makes him super gassy and the gas bubbles make him cry. Now he's a happy baby.

We had this same issue! We tried a couple but decided to do babys only pea protein organic plant based formula! It worked perfect for our baby!

@lory so glad you found something that helps your son! Nothing worse than seeing them struggle! My baby is 5 months old. Was on kendamil and breast milk but over the last 2 months he's had reflux and his poo were runnier than usual. I stopped breastfeeding as that was making him more sick and I expected his nappy to calm and become more seeded. It continued to be runny and still chucking up a little all day. The thing is they think he's lactose but he's been going less to the toilet now, I would expect it to be more!? I just don't like the ingredients in these lactose free furmulas 😭

@Morgan thank you, I didn't even think of that. I just tried looking but apparently plant bade furmula isn't in UK yet. Do you remember the brand

@Chloe https://babysonly.com/products/organic-plant-based-pea-protein-formula?variant=46843845443891&selling_plan=6529417523 It was life changing for us and our baby! It's marketed toward toddlers but we reached out to the company to see if it was able to be given to infants based on ingredients and it is! we also had our pediatrician take a look at it and confirm that we could try it for our 4 month old! We kept him on it until he was age 2 bc we loved it so much! Such great ingredients too! All the amazing reviews is what really pushed us to try it! You should read them if it's possible to get in where you are
