Getting baby to sleep in crib

My baby refuses to sleep unless she is with my boyfriend or I. She will not sleep in her crib at all. I bought a co sleeper bassinet that goes on the side of our bed but she refused that as well. The only way any of us get any sleep is if she is in bed with us. And before everyone yells at me about safe sleep, I already know and we are trying our best to get her in a crib but she just screams and screams when in her own bed. I would just like advice on how to get her used to her own bed and not judgement please.

Hey there! I think in a lot of ways, you’re really lucky that your daughter is comforted by you/your boyfriend’s attention/presence. I think we have this pressure to get babies in their own crib or space but cosleeping is very common in non western cultures, so as long as you’re thinking about the safety and making thoughtful choices about your sleeping process, I think you’re ok.

I don’t have advice about how to transition to the crib, but I did want to share that I listened to this podcast and it helped me think through the issue quite a bit. https://youtu.be/4Ac3rrYNbu8?si=c8Mpaw1vrXEs3V3V
If the link doesn’t work, the video is posted by “Hey Shayla” and titled “cosleeping what no one tells you. Is cosleeping safe?”

I hope this helps!!!
