tattoo while still nursing

my babe is 19 months and still nursing. Mostly comforting throughout the day and at night. I read its recommend to wait. Wondering if any Mamas who nursed later on still got a tattoo?

A lot of tattoo artist won't tattoo when ur still breastfeeding, as although the risk is small, they don't wanna take the risk. I'm waiting till I've stopped breastfeeding to have mine done as my artist won't do it till then. It's not the ink that's a problem it's the risk of infection X
