Swimming for the first time! πŸŠπŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Morning,
My little one is 3 months and I’d love to take her swimming for the first time!
Has anyone got any suggestions on the best pool to go to? Any tips on how long to be there / what to do?
Thank you 😊 x

Hey, I run a swim school in Cranleigh, you’ll need swimming nappies, happy nappies, a towel, a bright coloured swimming costume for baby (they are the safest) and if they don’t provide it for you a changing mat. Hope that helps x

Public pools can be a bit chilly- you can get wetsuit type material wraps and swimming costumes for little one. And I wouldn't stay in more than about 20-30mins to begin with.

Have you considered lessons? I've started going to Puddle Ducks at Clayton Court Barn (Hassocks) and she loves it! Might be a bit far from you - I daresay you'd be able to find closer ones. They're often held at smaller pools that are warmer and if this is your first baby like me, it gives you a bit of confidence of what to do with them in the water!

Horsham do swimming for their little pool tue, wed and Fri at certain times. It's the best one I've found so far. We did swim lessons with Aquatots in East Grinstead at the weekend but now decided we'd just take him until he a little older 😊
