We spend most of our weekends at home at the moment. Sleep deprivation one reason and also not knowing where to go or what to do with a young baby. Am I only the one? Feel like we should be doing more but it just feels like a bit of a mission sometimes to get out the door, it’s easier to stay at home 😅

No we’re the same! My baby has a heart condition and is tube fed so it’s super full on and we’re so knackered all the time 😅 getting out other than the park across the road is far more effort than we have lol x

I’m neverrrr at home. It’s a pain getting out but honestly both me & baby are happier once we’re out. She sleeps better when we’ve been out too so even if it’s just for a walk I’ll go out 6 out of 7 days. My little girl like being nosey at other people & looking at the trees etc x

I try to get out most days as it makes me feel so much better, even if it’s just for a walk to get some fresh air when I’m tired. We go to the library once a week and a baby group most weeks. Usually meet up with friends/family for a walk or coffee or something and also do some sort of shopping most weeks. Feel like I should be doing more baby focused things but going to look into more classes and stuff when she’s a little bit older x

For where to go at the weekend there’s the park, the shops, just a wander round your local area, the pub, cafe. My baby is fascinated by lights so the lights in shops are a good activity and he loves people so people watching keeps him occupied. Agree with trees from above too! It doesn’t matter where you go with them, they just like looking at everything and new places are fascinating.

I try and get out for at least 15 mins every day. Sometimes we’re out all day, other times not at all. I also have a 5 yr old so sometimes it’s nice for us to just chill at home
