I recently put myself on a DF diet due to my LO having a few symptoms such as a rashy face, and reflux/colic. He particularly struggles with bowel movements, as if it hurts him to go and usually follow with an explosion/very runny poos. My boy is 9 weeks and the colic has pretty much been straight away but the rash only appeared a few weeks ago. At first I thought it was sweat spots. Since starting my diet his face seems to have cleared up a bit but sometimes still flares. He had his first jabs on Tuesday so I don't know if this has effected it or not. I'm not sure if it is an intolerance at all but will see it out for the next few weeks so I can know for sure.

I started using Gerber Soothe probiotic drops for my baby at about 4 weeks and her colic symptoms improved sooo much. She also stopped looking like she was having painful gas/poops.

I started seeing a difference fairly quickly but it took about 4 weeks for all symptoms especially the rash to go away fully

I would try to do no soy as well. That’s how my daughter was and when I stopped soy all the symptoms went away completely

I understood from my HV that soy can affect milk supply so I’ve cut that down too. Basically don’t have soy yoghurts/ desserts. Coconut yoghurt/ milk is a good replacement. It could be 4 weeks before you notice a difference. It needs time to clear your system and baby’s.

I cut out soy and dairy and it took 2/3 weeks x

Thankyou for all your help and suggestions! 🫶🏻

12 weeks to go away completely so must have had a slip up at 6 weeks.
Some improvement after 2 weeks
