Missed miscarriage
Today I found out I am having a missed miscarriage, went for a private scan two weeks ago and there was an empty sac so they thought I might be too early (I was supposed to be 7 weeks). Went back today and still an empty sac so they told me I was having a missed miscarriage, apparently the baby never grow. I haven’t had any bleeding or pain so I don’t know how to proceed, should I contact EPU or my midwife? Or should I wait until I pass everything?

So sorry to hear this, i’d definitely contact the EPU they’ll most likely want to scan you again and confirm and then give you options of how to proceed either naturally, medically or surgical. Definitely call them though so it goes down on your notes. Thinking of you 🩷

Echoing everything everyone has said above! I also had to have surgery for a missed miscarriage last year. The exact same thing happened to me. Contact your EPU and they will take care of you ❤️
Thank you girls. I have contacted them and they told me to go today. They booked me in to have everything removed with medication at the hospital ❤️
