When did you get diagnosed/ have symptoms and what were your symptoms?
Current 36+1 and over the past week and a bit I’ve had a few episodes of ‘seeing stars’ and didn’t realise it could be a sign, I’ve no other symptoms 🤷♀️

Hey lovely, I was in for pre eclampsia checks last week (turned out ok) and one of the things my midwives commented was that they expected to see multiple symptoms for it to be a concern - I had protein urea, headaches, high blood pressure, dotty vision and swelling. They said on one alone they wouldn’t be concerned. But 100% if you’re worried it would be worth discussing with your midwife! 🤍

Started swelling around 35 weeks and they checked weekly at my appointments for BP and protein in urine and finally at my 38 week check up they both were high and I was sent to be induced
I was diagnosed with preeclampsia the day I was induced. My doctor advised me to go to the hospital because I had a massive headache so I drove over there thinking they were just going to check on baby and give me something for the headache but no. The decided to induce right away.
