Book buddies/writers? ❤️

Hi, i just wanted to do an intro post as currently procrastinating and wondered if there are any writers out there? 🤭 I love reading, have an online book club (through Instagram - I’m jadeford_writing) and am due to publish my debut novel feb 😍 I’d really love an in person book group though, or just friends who like talking about books that I could meet up with during maternity leave (July onwards). Is there anyone around the Shirley area? ❤️ Sunny book read for attention 😅

@Camilla ooo what genre writer are you? 🥹 I’ve been procrastinating with writing all this week and just in a bit of a slump atm!

@Jade it’s a contemporary novel. But I do get moments of just reassessing characters and plot and then go back to writing. What genre are you writing?

@Camilla my first novel is a dystopian ya fantasy 🥰 I’d love to give adult fantasy romance a go one day, but I end up backing out at the big romance scenes 😅

@Jade uh, that’s nice!! It’s a tricky one isn’t it? I have to say that I do feel the same about writing romance and spicy scenes.
