I am a planner so I am already thinking ahead. We usually host Christmas but now that my son was born 4 days afterwards idk whether to have his birthday the 2nd weekend of December or 2nd weekend of January or just have it on his birthday since it does land on a Sunday this year. We live an hour away from our family and I am worried it’ll be a lot to have Christmas brunch and then four days later a birthday party. I mean I know after Christmas normally even I am ready for the new year so idk. Do you all know what you will do or am I asking this way too soon lol

I was just talking to my husband about this since my son was born on the 28th .. smacked in the middle of Christmas and new year as well. I’m procrastinating the idea right now 😅

my son is the day after your son’s birthday 😊 I like to plan ahead but with this I just don’t know what to do. Part of me is like don’t worry about it, whoever shows up are the real deal lol and those who don’t will just miss out. But I also don’t want him to grow up not liking his birthday like I did. Mines on the 2nd and I would always get “We will have ask Santa for that” and sometimes the old man never came through. I just don’t want my son to feel his birthday is ever less than.

My daughter's birthday is December 20th but I was thinking about having it the first weekend of December so on the 7th
