FTM paranoid mum 🫣

Hey! So I think I’m coming down with a cold as I’ve started getting a sore throat. I’ve got a 5 week nearly 6 week old baby- I couldn’t bare the thought of him getting unwell; how can I prevent this? I’m worrying 😩

Honestly you can't 😞 I just gave my 12 week old the nastiest of colds and felt absolutely awful for it! He's fine now though was just a bit grizzly throughout and whilst he was bunged up. You can prop up one end of their cot with a blanket under the mattress to help their breathing at night though if they do get bunged up x

are you breastfeeding? is there anyone else who can take baby for part of the day to help you recover quicker?

when my baby was that young i got REALLY sick! fever, migraine, runny nose, the works. but my baby never got sick. i believe she got the antibodies before i started actually feeling sick and her body just handled the germs from there.

still to this day i’ll get really really sick but she won’t miss a beat 😫😂
