My son will be 4 months old next week. I had a running nose and painful eyes. I started coughing so I thought it was allergies. I took allergy medicine it didn't help. Then I said it might be a cold. I took cold medicine and I was still coughing. I was in the shower just letting the steam clear me and noticed I can't smell anything. I took a COVID test and it was positive. I am nervous because he is always under me. He has a little cough. I just hope he is okay. Sorry for the long post. I will be calling his doctor in the morning.

I tested positive right before my baby turned 7 weeks. Because she was so small I was afraid of her getting sick so I lived in a N95 mask for the 10 day quarantine period. I continued bf and my lo remained negative. Her Dr said it was the antibodies in the breast milk. Plus from what I heard most babies r asymptomatic or hardly sick if they do end up positive. Hope u both feel better soon x

Hey 👋 I'm in the UK, my 6 month old was sick a week ago, snotty nose, watery eyes, a slight cough. I just assumed it was a cold. I now have all the same symptoms plus no taste & smell, and yup tested positive for COVID 🤦♀️. Breast milk will contain antibodies 💪. Hope you and your LO feel better soon x
