Nap time advice

Has anyone dropped to one nap yet? Some days my wee one is showing no signs of being tired at all and refusing naps; he’s taking over an hour to fall asleep when I put him down for a nap. So yesterday I tried one nap, which worked fab he was great all day, but this morning he is showing tired cues already and is defo gonna need an earlier nap. His sleep has been all over the place the last month or so it feels too early for one nap but I when he has 2 he is either refusing one meaning he’s up for about 8 hours or he’s taking forever to fall asleep at night. Anyone got any tips for transition to 1?

Yes we moved to one nap because she was just never tired enough for her second nap and it was always a battle it took about a week for her to get used to it but everyday I put her down for her nap a little later, so we started putting her down at 11am even through would be tired form 9.30am takes alot of work to keep her occupied 😂 after a few weeks we are now putting her down around 12.30pm and she's sleeping until 3pm and she's is a golden child when she wakes up and bedtime is also alot easier now aswell

Do you wake him from naps? If you let him sleep until he wakes up you will be surprised how long you can make that second wake window last, my girl could wake at 12pm and still be good right up until 7pm and sleep fine all night
