Dogs meet baby

My dogs will be meeting my baby for the first time today. They're very pampered pooches as were spoilt during the 5 years it took us to finally get our rainbow here. They'll be walked before meeting her and will see me and all the babys things first before my husband will then bring her in. Grateful of any other advice for today and going forward 🙏

Try to just breath 😊 we have a 8 year old English bulldog and is like our first child super spoilt! She has adjusted amazingly an is the best big sis to our LB xx

We kept our baby in the carrier when we brought her home as our pup was very exited to meet her, always let her be around her just never lick her face or get too close when she is on the bed, we have a 40kg husky and sometimes she doesn’t know her own size😂

Dogs are amazing with babies, let your dog have a good sniff and give your dog lots of praise for being gentle and calm around the baby X my girls are the best of friends

Gave my mums pup a toy before bringing my baby in, for the first hour he didn't even realise there was a baby there 😂 Pup always checked on little one and became protective of him! Same with my second! I worried so much beforehand!
