Tick bite! FTM
We live in the middle of no where so I knew this was bound to happen but we just picked a lone star tick off the back of my daughter’s neck. It was red initially but even now it’s starting to go away. Should I just wait and watch or go ahead and call pediatrician. It wouldn’t have been on her very long.
I'd just call to see what the current recommendation is. When my daughter had a tick on her about 4 years ago they said to wash with soap and water, put on an antibiotic ointment, and call back for any fever in the next 4 weeks.
