Help! William in Italian?

I named my child William and just confirmed my Italian citizenship and will be moving there. I hate the Italian equivalent of William. Is there any other options you can think of?

because she doesn't like how people would pronounce his name

Some alternative could be Liam, Will, Willie, Wilson, Louis, Leo.. if it’s just that you don’t like their William equivalent name (Guglielmo) I really don’t think they’d call him that if he just says his name is William and not Guglielmo.
