Rapid nuby neocate formula

Hiya, I've been making my little boys bottles at night with rapid nuby. He is on neocate formula (dairy free). To make the bottles I bring boiling water in the flask, pour this in at 3am into the nuby flask then shake it to cool it down then pour the cooled down water into the mam baby bottle. Then I add the formula and shake it in the bottle. Is this correct?

no hunny, with dairy free free formula it’s definitely important to mix the formula in with a “hot shot” and mix before adding cooled water my midwife recommended against the nuby rapid cool as if the formula isn’t dissolved properly in boiling water it can give baby the runs

I do the exact same thing! It is correct. Kya mentioned above it needs a hot shot. This is incorrect. There are instructions on the tin and it is advised the neocate is made with cooled boiled water. The hot shot is used to kill bacteria which is not needed for neocate as it is made in a sterile environment I was told

@Kya this isn’t correct from what I know, my baby is 9 months and been on neocate his whole life and we’ve been told to never do the hot shot as it stops the goodness with the dairy free. You have to use cooled boiling water which I do with the nubys and have done since day one too and had no issues xxx
