Nickname help!

We had our little boy about 2 months ago and named him Asa (Ace-ah). Hubby doesn’t like the nickname Ace. I love his full name but I also like using nicknames with my other kids. Any suggestions??

It doesn’t really need a shorter nn bc it’s already short. Maybe Asa Spades Or just the letter “A”. Or try a totally unrelated type of nickname. Is he opposed to Acey or Acer?

I liked Acey but he thinks it sounds like air conditioning lol or the initials A.C but he is A.P (which also doesn’t work because of advanced placement)

I agree that his name doesn’t feel like it needs to be any shorter, you could call him by the letter A or initials AJ for example

I'd go with "A" or his first initial and his last initial together perhaps. My son is Arthur, but his surname starts with a T so I often call him "AT" He loves it 🥰 I don't like shortening Arthur to anything else!

I would just call him 'A' or something cutesy like 'buddy'

He doesn’t really need a nickname that corresponds with his first name, maybe you guys will naturally come up with a nickname for him that’s only for you guys to use

His name is already short enough don’t think it needs to be shortened
