Dermatitis?

Been back and forth with doctor about rashes my boys been getting for months. Usually on his neck, behind ears but recently on his belly and arms too. We got prescribed a steroid cream and epimax moisturiser which I’m worried has made it worse as since using this it spread to belly and arms. In his belly there’s yellow coloured areas too. Anyone experienced similar?

Does he have any allergies? My LO got eczema as a symptom of CMPA x

We get this a lot. We found after using a steroid cream, he got steroid withdrawal and now avoid them. Epimax does work for us but try a different one if feel it isn't as it is so hit and miss. We also have allergies but can't find any connections with foods still in his diet. If you use bubble bath, you might want to ditch it for bit x

The last photo looks like contact dermatitis. Your LO most probably has eczema which can be triggered by and worsened by many things. I found out my son reacts and gets contact dermatitis to perfumed products and also Cetyl / cetostearyl alcohol which is actually in a lot of eczema creams surprisingly including epimax.

Thank you all. I did wonder allergies but nothing has changed in his diet or laundry powder or any products. Since he turned 2 he has these rashes, it’s so weird. He itches and makes the rash appear before it’s there too, just from dry skin. I will have to ask the doctor about an alternative to epimax maybe. I was worried it would be something worse as when he first got these rashes the doctor thought measles! We tested him for it and never heard results so I assume it wasn’t. But now I’m pregnant and he has it again I panicked about measles 😅 but I do just think it’s a reaction or dermatitis. Just got to get the bottom of why 😓

My son currently has this too. We have his eczema under control using cetraben ointment and he’s dairy free as we found that flared his skin. We use steroid on rare occasions now x
