5 month old gone from 6oz bottles to 2-3oz...

I'm really worried now. She has gone from eating 6oz every 3 hours to taking 2/3oz every 3 and a half. Has anybody else's little one decreased the amount they feed? She does have suspected cmpa and we are finally on neocate which she doesn't seem to dislike massively. In a stress I tried to offer her her old regular milk and she still wouldn't drink more than 3oz so its not the milk itself.

She was a chunky monkey baby but already she seems thinner. I'm not sure if this could be related to her not being bloated anymore or if she's genuinely losing weight that quickly.

I haven't but my friend did. The health visitor advised to start weaning. I would obviously check with your health visitor first.

we have started as last week she refused bottles completely for 2 days. My concern is liquid and dehydration. One day last week when she woke up her nappy was pretty much bone dry. :(

its the bottles becky. How do you go from 6oz to half of it? Surely she's not getting enough nutrition from that. :( such a worry

bottle refusal can also just be a developmental phase, we had about 3 weeks of it and it was horrible. Try and dream feed every time she has a nap to get some extra mls into her and HV advised me that if she was dry for longer than 6 hours phone 111

Also been told by both HV and GP that half of their normal ml a day will be enough for hydration
