My little boy has come out in chicken pox today and obviously won’t be going to nursery. My mum normally has him on a Tuesday but has my nephews on a Friday. Would you think it would be ok for her to still have him? She had it so I’m. It sure

As long as she’s had it I’m sure she’d be ok. My lb had it whilst I was 36 weeks pregnant and the midwives & doctors said as long as I’d had it should be ok. You can get it twice but it highly unlikely. (All based on advice I’d been given previously)

She as had it so it’s fine - I never caught it when my son had it . however I would say get her to deep clean after he leaves and sterilise everything - and wash the clothes etc she was wearing when she had him . As Chickenpox can be spread indirectly by touching contaminated items freshly soiled, such as clothing, from an infected person so doctor told me even though I had it if anyone comes in house that hasn’t had it if even we upstairs when they arrive they will catch it if son is touching stuff so to be on safe side get get her to clean xx
