Rain cover on Pram

We are going out tomorrow and have a rain cover for the pram as it is due to rain but I’m so worried she can’t breathe under there. Is there anything anyone suggests or are they pretty safe? Thank you

How old is your baby? They will be able to breathe I’m sure. Try not to stress too much, pretty sure test has been done. I sometimes leave little zipper on too where not much rain can enter.

I imagine they’re probably safe, but I used to leave the zip slightly open on my son’s rain cover to make sure he had good airflow.

They are usually tested I'm sure, they would t sell them otherwise, we have a couple and there is ventilation at the bottom as it doesn't fit snug on the pram and holes at the top where the handles are so if you're able, leave this open too. I always worry they get too hot with the rain cover as can be a greenhouse so I don't use too many layers

Perfectly safe

Ours has gaps either side to make sure fresh air gets in/out, perfectly safe :)

my one has holes and a flap at the top that i keep open for ventilation, does yours maybe have this?

My one has holes in it at the side, plus it doesn't fit that tight on it anyway so air can get through the gaps. There's no way they would be able to sell them if they weren't safe!

They wouldn’t sell rain covers if they caused babies to not breathe. They are perfectly safe

They usually have little holes in for air, but you should be able to unzip it a little at the bottom without rain getting in

Take it off if you go indoors like a shop or cafe as it can get hot but if it makes you feel better just make a gap in the side or something or around the straps xx

Alot of them have a few holes in, either way the are not air tight so they are pretty safe as air can still get in gaps

Rain covers aren’t airtight on prams so baby can breathe. The only recommendation I’ve seen is not to leave it on when indoors and baby is asleep in pram. I assume this is to prevent baby getting too warm, rather than a case of not being able to breathe.
