Breast pain

One of my breast is super sore and painful to the touch, I feel perfectly fine so I'm not sure if I'm developing mastitis as I don't feel like I have clogged duct. I exclusively pump as my LO would not latch. Anyone have a similar experience and how long did it take to resolve?

It’s either mastitis or thrush. I’ve had both

And I assume I need to see a doctor for both?

I had a similar problem, pumping was hurting me more and more and eventually i just put baby on me and it just worked even though it hadn’t before, not saying it’ll work for you but it could 🤷🏻‍♀️

Get sunflower lecithin. You will be relieved by the next day! Sounds like a clogged duct

When I came home with my LO I was engorged so bad I developed multiple clogged ducts. I also strictly pump because she won’t latch and I literally pumped the clogs right out. But it definitely was not easy. Use ice and moist heat intermittently I did it for 15 minutes each and it really helped. And ibuprofen for the pain. If it doesn’t ease in a few days it could be mastitis. Good luck!! I know how bad it hurts 😩😩

@Alex you most def can or try to self treat first. Docs will give you antibiotics for mastitis and nystatin for thrush
