It’s so hard at the moment because of the housing crisis. The landlord always picks someone over me who’s employed and it give me no chance whatsoever x
Sadly it’s very very difficult, I work on a 27 hour week contract and I am also on Universal Credit. I have been trying to rent from a landlord for a verrrry long time but I am never accepted. My advice is to broaden your search into further out areas where the rents are cheaper but it’s still not easy almost all landlords will pick people who earn more money and couples. Following hopefully to hear some light at the end of the tunnel Hopefully you’ll have some luck
Landlords do accept UC applicants but you will have to have a guarantor. I private rent and on UC and need a guarantor. Or speak to your local council they may be able to house you or give you few landlords or housing associations x
