Breaking a lease to find a bigger house for a family

I wont to move to a bigger place to accommodate a newborn. Has anyone broken a lease before if so? How long before you someone new took over your rental?

I’ve broken so many leases and just broke a lease when I was 6 months preg to get a more suitable house. We had to pay a termination fee that was in our lease and the day we moved out other people were already moving in. We had a bunch of showings leading up to leaving !
