My little boy is 8 and a half month and we started the milk ladder 5 days ago.
Since Thursday he has had 1/4 of a malted milk biscuit and by Saturday I noticed his face has become spotty.
The past 2 days he’s been constipated and refusing his formula. He’s only managed around 20oz of formula in 48 hours which is making me think he may have a sore stomach. He is having solids but not as much as he normally would eat. He’s happy in himself, just constipated, rash on his face and refusing milk.
Could this be a fail? Or should I keep going?
Waiting for 9am to call out dietician

Learn more about our guidelines.i would class this as a fail, if it was a success he would have no reactions at all
i would wait to get guidance from the dietitian before proceeding
Id say it was a fail and follow whatever guidance they give you. Personally we were advised with any fails in the ladder to pause for 8 weeks and try again
What’s the rash look like on his face? My son is simular age and recently seems to be allergic to cows milk - he got hives with cows milk so haven’t given him anymore. But he does have dry skin and a very slight rash near his mouth.. now thinking I’s it a reaction x
