Eczema recommendations please!

My LO has developed 4 patches of eczema recently and we have tried baby Aveeno, grown up Aveeno, bepanthen and are currently trying sudacrem. The first 2 didn't improve it at all the last 2 seem to reduce the redness for a few hours... Is there anything else I could try for longer lasting results? Or is this how it is?

Following as my girl is the same! I’ve tried: Sudacream Aveeno baby dermexa Hydromol ointment Hydrocortisone ointment Nothing seems to help it

Cetraban! Only thing that clear my girls up

Id see your GP first. Seea few different if you can. I was told my daughter had eczema saw 3 different GPs as no cream helped turned out to be a fungal infection and is now completely gone so for 7 weeks she had it before i got the right diagnosis and after 2 weeks of treatment its completely gone x

Oilatum might help or ask the pharmacy

@Charlie intrigued what treatment was given for that? I’m at my GP tomorrow

@Lauren dactarin i think it was called. An antifungal cream il show you how it looked before x

@Charlie fab so I have something to go to my GP with, its lasting too long for my girl and she’s pretty itchy now too 🥺

Currently back and fourth to GP we have had 2 steroids not worked, we have tried Epiderm Aveno dermexa A natural honey Ointment They all reduce it never get rid My son then got real sick with croup and tonsillitis and stopped eating (I suspected it was coming from gut and a few days before reduced the wheat in his diet) after 4 days of only eating yoghurts and fruit the eczema had reduced hugely first time in 5 months, so we are now looking into his diet more and using the creams every day keeping him moisturised, the steroids I will only now use twice per week as its so bad for their skin xx

I really recommend the aproderm colloidal oat!

@Lauren it got really bad and kept spreading - hope you get answers x

We use centreban or diprobase both really good when he has bad flare ups especially the diprobase. We switch between the two. And then use the nala butter day to day just to keep his skin moisturised when it’s not bad.

We are currently using E45 which seems to have cleared everything up. But not sure if it was allergy related. Tried a million others, some from GP but e45 seems to have cleared everything up for us so far x

I really like skin salvation balm though it is quite dear but it’s so good for spot treating very red / dry areas. When he’s not having a flare up I used aveeno dermexa

Thanks ladies. I'm going to book a GP appointment just to confirm it's definitely eczema and also see if they will prescribe some of the options to try as there's so many!

Try a calendula cream as a natural alternative.
