Floor Beds

We got my daughter a floor bed when she was 2 so slightly older but she is obsessed with it! She fell out a couple of times the first few nights but didn’t wake up and we just put her back in and then she must have just got used to it because it stopped happening. She gets out of bed in the mornings and comes through to me but always at a decent time. My little boy is just coming up to 16 months and wakes a lot and we’ve been thinking about getting him one but not sure, I know you can get the ones with the little sides so we’d more likely get him one of those whereas my daughter has one of the house framed ones. Overall though I think their great and my two love playing in my daughters one x

I moved my daughter to a floor bed at 13 months she instantly slept so much better the first night she fell out but then she’s not fallen out since honestly the best choice I made. Just make sure her bedroom is child proof and she will be fine I’ve put my daughters floor bed in a big play pen because she has sliding wardrobes in her room

I just put her cot mattress on the floor inside a big play pen, I just make sure to lift the mattress up through the day because if not it’ll not get any air and will start growing mould underneath the mattress
