I’m a FTM, and have been feeling worried about my lack of weight gain. I’m 5’1, I started off at 108lbs and at 30 weeks I’m 115lbs. My doctor hasn’t mentioned anything about weight and my fundal height measurement at 28 weeks was normal. Just worried about babies growth , esp bc I have no scheduled ultrasounds remaining to get another sense of assurance

I’m the same height as you but I started off underweight, I was 98lbs, I’m 28 weeks and only weigh 109-110.. if you’re doctor hasn’t mentioned it then you shouldn’t be worried! They’re making me come in for a growth scan at 32 weeks because of being initially underweight but if you’re a good starting weight you should be fine.. and apparently you gain the most towards the end anyways.. my doctor says I’ll probably gain another 10lbs by 40 weeks, if you’re stomach is growing and baby is kicking everything should be fine! Sometimes they take the fat you have on your body and use it for their own growth and nutrients, many moms end up weighing less after pregnancy than before pregnancy because of this.

I started at 130 and yesterday I went to doctor and I was still 130. My belly is small and my doctor isn’t too worried. I have lost weight due to nausea and food aversions. Also, i have gotten sick with colds, flu, and stomach bugs. 😓

Iam the same boat of stress as you. I started off at 180, lost 20 lbs in the first trimester, horrible nausea and appetite. Iam 31 weeks pregnant today I am 178 lbs but don’t look pregnant and it hurts me. The dr measured my fundal height at 30 weeks I was measuring 31 inches and said I am good. I worry too much about my weight as nothing is sticking.

I started off 90 lbs and I'm 100lbs now so I'm getting an ultrasound to check baby's growth because my stomach is also measuring small

Make sure you double check with your doctor next time. If your belly isn’t measuring right, they typically order you a growth scan. They thought my baby was looking large so they gave me one at 36 weeks. About weight gain My doctor said women thinking they need to gain weight during pregnancy is actually erroneous. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve def gained weight, but I’m just pass on that along.

I lost 10lbs at first and have gained 7lbs back so far. If baby is growing fine and the doctor is concerned, don't fret about it. Everyone's body is just different and will adapt in different ways ❤️
