You won't see a pediatrician unless you want to or the baby needs one for some reason. I asked my OB about that at my last appointment, she said unless they need one or I prefer a paed they don't need to, and generally your family doctor will take them as a patient, but check don't just assume. I asked at mine and they see babies, they said just to call after birth and they'll get the baby booked for their well baby visit which is a few days to 1 week after birth and they'll guide me from there.
