Is this a miscarriage?

I woke up to some lighter bleeding that was darker in color. It subsided for a few hours and now after wiping I had a clot roughly the size of a dime that was dark in color. Is this a miscarriage or could it still be hormonal bleeding?

I had dark red and brown mucus like spotting around 11 weeks and it was nothing. But I did go to the doctor asap and they did an ultrasound and cervix check, so I recommend the same for your peace of mind. As far as I’ve read and been told, miscarriages more commonly cause bright red bleeding and severe cramping and pain. As long as you don’t have that try to stay calm but do get checked as soon as possible.

Thank you both 💕 I’ll be 8 weeks tomorrow. I called my nurse line and have an ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. So far nothing has been bright red so I’m remaining hopeful 🤞🏼 I had my first ultrasound last week and the baby had a solid heartbeat so I’m trying to rely on that at this point too.
